Day 1

You can take a fly from San Jose to Drake Bay at 6:57 a.m. or from San Jose to Palmar at 9:30 a.m. Right on the airport our bus will be waiting for you, to take you to the beach or Sierpe where the first adventure by boat will take you to Punta Marenco Lodge. Right there you will have the chance to walk around all our property surround of all the natural beauty of the place, hiking on the forest or just resting on the hammock from your balcony, enjoying of the fresh breeze from the ocean.

Day 2

Visit to Corcovado National Park.
An adventure on the biggest Tropical Rain Forest in all Central America. The tour start getting into the Park by San Pedrillo Station, where you will be hiking around till its time for lunch. Exploring primary & secondary forest where you’ll have the chance to find 4 kinds of monkeys, 400 species of birds & lot’s of different animals from this zone. The adventure continues after lunch with a walk through the end of San Pedrillo River. Later on the evening back to the Hotel you’ll have the possibility to see some whales and dolphins.

Day 3

Visit to Island del Caño Biological Station.
This is an adventure marine day. You will have the chance to practice scuba dive on this place seeing as the best, after Coco´s Island. There’s a great variety of marvelous colorful fishes and in general the whales & dolphins will join you on this trip. The Island has unlimited paths that will let you walk through important places for the Indian tribus of the area.

Day 4 : ( Arrival at Hojancha )

After breakfast, we’re taking the boat straight to Sierpe where our bus will be waiting to start the route to Dorati Lodge in Guanacaste. This transfer it’s a good adventure, as during the trip we will pass by Banana Plantations, Dominical & Manuel Antonio beaches and we will cross the transition zone between Humid & Dry forest on the Biological Reserve of Carara, the trip continues on the coast road, where the ocean breeze will join us on most of our adventure. We will stop somewhere between this trip to take a little rest. The trip continues till we get to Dorati Lodge, right on time to get ready for dinner.

Day 5: Caverns Tour in Barra Honda National Park

After a delicious typical breakfast, our bus will take you straight to Barra Honda National Park, getting there about 9:10 a.m.
 The tour start on the Guard Parks office, to take a hike for about 90 minutes through the paths on the exuberant forest of Cerro Barra Honda , to get to Terciopelo Cavern, from there we star to go down 25 meters perpendicular using a metal ladder and harness and trappings, of course guide by a group of experts on exploration of Caverns. On the Cavern you will have the chance to see the geological formation, built during 70.000 years. Then 50 meters away we will find another cavern going down again about 15 meters taking other ladder, where you will discover 3 rooms full of geological formations as stalactites, stalagmites, columns, curtains, and lots more. At this point the darkness & the silence will make an unforgettable experience. After 2 hours on the depth we will go back to top where the enclose balcony on the hill of Barra Honda will show you the best of the Golf of Nicoya.
Lunch is included. Back to Dorati Lodge about 5:00 pm. Dinner & Hotel Included.

DAY 6: Palo Verde National Park Tour, Pájaros Island and Canopy Tour

           Canopy at Palo Verde National Park and Pájaros Island. Enjoy of this adventure of fly through the trees, the forest with magnificent views over the Conservation Area of Tempisque, the trip goes passing through the Tropical Dry Forest to get to each of the 7 platforms of 2200 meters of cable. The trip takes approximately 2 hours. We will be done by lunch at the same place where we started. After lunch we will take you to Palo Verde National Park where a boat will take us through the manglar and the rich fauna composed by monkeys, crocodiles, lizards, reptiles and a great variety of birds. To finish this adventure day, we also have Isla de Pájaros (Bird Island) where the chance to see quantity & variety of species in the same place recognized in Central America is a fact. Back to Dorati lodge, dinner & hotel included.

DAY 7: Have breakfast calmly with us and take a walk by the town of Hojancha located to 300 mts of Dorati Lodge. Know the park, the church and its environs. If you prefer it, you can coordinates with us and prepare your check out to 2:00 p.m.
